Stupid, think before you write!
Is it just me, or does the so called speakers for the rest of us have a big mouth? I was always thought that it is best to think before you speak. Count up the cost of what your words will do. How they will effect others.
Every since the infamous Pentagon Papers, journalist have been set on destroying those of us who can speak for ourselves, in hopes of the "big prize." Contrary to the believe of CNN or World News Tonight or even Democracy Now, we don't need to know everything. What I should say is that our enemy's don't need to know everything.
Ok, so Newsweek this award is for you. This years Stupid Award goes to... You. Thank you for giving the bloodthirsty Islamic radical idiots another reason to declare an unholy butchery on the innocent people of the world.
Who asked if the Islamic holy text was being used as toilet paper? Yes, I agree that it's a radical gesture to desecrate anyone's "holy" text. But, when was the last time you complained because the Bible was being destroyed? Or the American flag was being burned in complete defiance to our service men and women?
Reporting the flushing of the Koran was like waving a juice red steak in the face of an unchained Rottweiler. One would have to ask, "what were you thinking, stupid?"
A true journalist must report the truth with little or no regards to the safety of others. It is the duty of every reporter to sacrifice the security of their people, to expose the radical few. They are obligated to run with whatever information they are given, checking for accuracy when it is convenient. Other countries should know your governments weakness and it's peoples fears. And for this we applaud you, stupid.
Someone , please tell these guys with the magic pens (computers) think before you write your next article. It could cost you your life, along with the rest of us who enjoy living.
