A Speech: Birth of A Nation
Houston - I recently gave a speech in honor of February's celebration of the contribution of Blacks in American history. Later I shared it on my podcast.
When we speak of American history, many people are unaware of the important role African Americans played in the birthing of America as a nation. First, Blacks have fought in every single war since the Revolutionary War. Before the independence of this country, Blacks were viable businessmen and women, scientist, inventors, literary figures, landowners, and so much more. However, many of those things have been removed from the history books to be ignored as they sit on forgotten shelves of America's great libraries. In this speech, I endeavor to share a small fraction of insight into our place in American history.
